Keith M. Parent, Chief Executive Officer

A proven executive leader and corporate evangelist with over 20 years experience in the fields of information technology, Mr. Parent is the founder and CEO of Court Square Group, which he established in 1995. Parent provides the direction for the company’s business units including an in-depth Life Sciences practice as well as technology focused practices in Network and Security, SharePoint and Managed Services. He hires critical talent and challenges his teams to be a best-in-class, consulting organization. His life sciences team has worked directly at pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies and brings real world experience to Court Square’s client base.
Under Keith’s disciplined leadership the Court Square Group team has experience with providing strategic technology consulting services in a variety of areas including FDA quality and audit services as well as 21CFR11 compliant document management and supporting policy and procedure development. He consistently demonstrates an entrepreneurial spirit and creative thinking that is a catalyst for innovation coupled with a strong strategic planning and metric-driven accountability. He is a founding member of the Clinical Research Consortium of Massachusetts (CRCM).
Mr. Parent has an extensive technical background, including large scale software development, global infrastructure management, and multi-industry integration project experience.
Thanks to Mr. Parent’s leadership Court Square has been named to the Inc. 500 , was three times named to the Inc/Business Week Inner City 100, and was also named the 2002 Small Business of The Year by the Springfield, Mass. Chamber of Commerce. Springfield Technical Community College cited the company with its Hampden County Achievement Award. He was presented with an Urban Investment Award by Massachusetts Governor W. Mitt Romney in 2003. Parent has previously been nominated as Ernst and Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year as well as a Champion of Bio-IT. He was a named a finalist for 2007 CEO of the year by the Massachusetts Technology Alliance. The company’s most recent accolades include the Massachusetts Economic Impact Award Bronze Winner-2008 and a Boston Business Journal Pacesetter Award, also in 2008.
Before co-founding Court Square in 1995, Mr. Parent served as a consultant for Winthrop-Lawrence in Agawam, Mass. Prior to that, he worked for Digital Equipment, Farm Credit Bank and Amherst Associates (now known as McKessonHBOC). He holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Siena College.
