Christopher Port, Senior Vice-President of Life Sciences

Mr. Port is a professional manager with 20 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Christopher brings to Court Square Group, a wealth of experience ranging across pharmaceutical R&D He joined Court Square in 2007 to lead the Life Sciences practice.

Following several years as a scientist conducting and reporting pre-clinical safety studies Mr. Port has made his career managing and delivering Information Technology services and solutions for Wellcome, GlaxoSmithKlien and Pfizer, before leaving the latter organization as the World Wide Quality Manager, Research and Development.

During his career, Mr. Port has been part of the changing pharma industry and has been involved in, or actively led many innovative changes to the business processes through technological change. A mainstay to his approach for delivering quality services and products had been an early recognition for professional rigor delivered through BS15000, ITIL and project management practices.

He holds a Bachelor of Science Hons. Biochemistry (Medical) from University of Surrey, Guildford, Surrey. UK and was a research fellow at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, UK.
